Honey Onyx, which is one of the most demanded and applied onyx varieties of Turkey, get its name from the similarity of its color and texture as honey foam. Honey Onyx are usually produced as 2 cm thick slabs while the parts which are not considered as blocks are used as decorative material or narrow space covering material. Honey Onyx is one of the highest range of light transmittance onyx species of Turkey and slab prices of Honey Onyx is neither cheap nor expensive when compared to other Turkish onyxies. Honey Onyx, which is one of the most exported onyx varieties exported abroad of Turkey and is produced as both cross-cut and vein-cut. Because the cross-cut production bringing more features to the forefront of the stone factories give weight to cross-cut production.
