Because Orange Travertine is obtained from certain quarries in Turkey it is a unique type of travertine of Turkey. Orange Travertine is darker selection of Golden Travertine and it is produced apart from Golden Travertine products. Orange Travertine is local and has limited reserves and production; it will be indispensable for those who want to have private spaces. The Orange Travertine is newly popular in Turkey but not in Europe and United States and gives excellent results especially in the French pattern set and Roman pattern set applications which are preferred for outdoor use. We think that the demand will increase for Orange Travertine products even more in the coming years. Cross-cut (American Cut) products are recommended for those who prefer matte appearance in their places whereas vein-cut (Turkish Cut) is recommended for customers who prefer the waterveins which are the original appearance of the stone. Orange Travertine, which is also used in split face and mosaic production for decorative purposes due to its different appearance from other travertine types. It is also used in the production of garden ornament, washbasin, railing, jamb and column according to the demand of the customer.

Thanks to the modernization of the natural stone factories in Turkey in recent years, the production quality increased and the production costs have been reduced. For these reasons, the prices of Turkish Orange Travertine products are at the same level and quality as those of other world competitors. With modern production facilities, Turkey can produce Orange Travertine products in desired size and surface treatments. While the United States is demanding products produced with aged surface whereas other countries prefer raw, polished, honed, brushed or tumbled surface treatment. Orange Travertine blocks, sometimes imported from Iran, are processed in Turkey and exported to the domestic market as well as to the foreign market. Because of its homogeneous surface, it is not only applied to narrow space applications; while it also performs well in wide-area applications.
