Aksaray Yaylak granite, which is made of quartz crystals settled from white to gray, gives excellent results in wide area applications both polished and honed surface treatment. Granites are volcanic rocks as their formation and they are also a group of hard rocks due to the quartz and feldspar minerals they contain. Aksaray Yaylak granite one of Turkey's most produced varieties of granite; it is also known as Anatolian Gray granite. It is one of the most homogeneous structured granite found in granite quarries in Turkey. It is mainly applied both indoor and outdoor flooring and cladding applications. Compared to other natural stone varieties, it is produced and sold very cheaply thanks to its hard structure and uniform texture. There is a wide range of applications ranging from low-floor apartment flooring and coating applications to projects with thousands of square meters. The production is mostly polished and if desired it is produced as burned, sanded or tumbled. Although not very common, it is also preferred in narrow space applications such as mosaics, sculptures, fountains, and window sills. Due to the fact that it is in the intermediate color granite varieties; it can work compatible with light and dark colored granite types and it adds elegance to the environments it is applied to. The problem of standardization in the granites of China and India; almost never happened because of the increase in total quality of Turkish granite varieties. Turkish granites are preferred in many big sized projects carried out in the world and represents our country successfully. Aksaray Nova granite, Aksaray Dune granite and Anatolia Gray granite are among the other world known names of our granite produced in every desired sizes. Our granite variety is usually exported to İstanbul and İzmir Ports.
